“Our defense was particularly good tonight. When we weren’t turning them over and scoring, which we did often, we still kept them from getting into their offense. Our rotations were very good and we cut off the driving lanes the entire game.”

Keane led all scorers with eighteen points. Emily Bleke scored eight and senior sister Rachel had seven. Scott finished with three as did Hailey Cole and Macie Spiegel. Tessa Spiegel, Laurent and Jarvis each added two as nine different Braves scored in the game.

The win moves Bellmont to 17 – 4 on the season, 5 – 2 in NE8 play. Leo falls to 11 – 11. The JV concluded their season with a win by the score of 36 – 20. Kam Jarvis led the way with twelve points. The Braves now move into tournament play. Their first game is Wednesday at Norwell against Oak Hill.
