Police book in six on charges

Six people were arrested on various charges Thursday by police in the county and booked in at the Adams County Law Enforcement and Detention Center.

Marco A. Gonzalez, Jr., 20, Brownsville, Texas, was detained by the Adams County Sheriff’s Department for possession of a controlled substance and being a minor in possession of alcohol. He was booked in at the jail and then released under his own recognizance.

Kalya J. Poppe, 18, Ringold Street, Geneva, was cited by deputies for possession of paraphernalia and then was released on her own recognizance after the book-in process.

Jamarcus T. Young, 20, Jeanerette, Louisiana, was arrested by the sheriff’s department on a warrant for sexual misconduct with a minor and child exploitation, both considered to be a level five felony charge. He is being held in custody without bond.

Paula R. Bailer, 58, Wheatridge Court, Decatur, was served with a warrant by the Decatur Police Department for obstructing traffic. Her bond was placed at $400 cash.

Dale D. Lesniak, 41, Fort Wayne, was taken in by deputies on a warrant for violation of probation. He is being held in custody without bond.

Juan M. Billingsley, Yorkshire Drive, Decatur, is in custody at the jail after Decatur police arrested him on an Allen County warrant for violation of home detention. He is being held without bond pending a transfer to the custody of authorities in Fort Wayne.
