Offer made to hire field technician for sewer district

With a bare four-member quorum present, the Adams County Regional Sewer District Board met in special session on Friday, June 2, and voted unanimously to extend an offer to hire one of nine people who applied for the position of field technician.
The offer was given to Noah Brite, a 2016 Adams Central graduate who also has college degrees in instructional technology (from Ivy Tech in Fort Wayne) and as an electrical specialist.
The votes were by board president Shannon Smitley, vice-president Dick Lambert, secretary Nate Rumschlag, and member Jim Franz.
Absent were members John Carroll, Josh Zimmerman, and John Summers.
